Easy Custom Code Features Explained
Put the CSS and JS code in a file
Instead of outputting the CSS or JS code in the source code of the page, you can choose to put the contents in an external file. This allows the visitor's browser to cache the file for the next page visit, which increases the page load speed. This is a module setting, so you decide what happens!
You decide where to place the code
Sometimes you want your Javascript code to be placed in the <head> section of your page. For another script you might want to place the code below your module. Easy Custom Code allows you to decide where the code is positioned in the source code.
Use deferred JS for faster loading pages
You can also choose to defer the loading of your Javascript code. This means that it will be executed after the page has been loaded. This way your Javascript will not block the loading of the page and therefore gives your visitor a better browsing experience.
