Will my extension work in Joomla! 2.5?
That depends on the Joomla! version that the extension was developed for. According to Jean Marie Simonet very little compatibility problems are expected between extensions released for Joomla! 1.7 and those for Joomla! 2.5. Extensions developed for Joomla! 1.5 on the other hand will almost certainly need to be modified in order to work properly under Joomla! 2.5.
